User manual

The MIDO user's manual give information about the use, the settings and the maintenance of the different MIDO watches.

For example, be careful not to set the date between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. to preserve your mechanical watch.

Automatic watch movements

Automatic watch movements

MIDO watch movements combine all of watchmaking tradition's strict criteria. The models of most of the collections are equipped with a transparent case back showing the mechanical and aesthetic beauty of the Swiss watch movements. Our timepieces are endowed with an oscillating weight decorated with Geneva Stripes and MIDO logo, guilloché or circular-grained bridges, or blued screws. MIDO also offers a series of chronometers whose conformity is certified by a neutral testing bureau that provides an official certification after rigorous testing. Each chronograph watch is unique and identified by an engraved number on the movement.
PVD coating

PVD coating

The extremely technical process of Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) coats watch components in a strong, impurity-free film to ensure continued resistance to corrosion. This microscopically thin layer boosts the watch’s hardness and robustness while enhancing its elegant aesthetics in beautiful shades of black, pink gold colour or yellow gold colour. Its hypoallergenic properties increase its universal appeal and allow for a range of applications.
