2022 is a landmark year for Mido and for watches and architecture enthusiasts: it marks 20 years since the brand first drew inspiration from remarkable monuments. The second model in a series of five anniversary creations, the classic and elegant Baroncelli Signature now takes the stage.

A monument on your wrist
This limited edition of 1,836 pieces – the year the famous opera house opened – is fitted with the excellent Caliber 80. Besides its autonomy of up to 80 hours, this movement is fitted with a Nivachron™ balance-spring to ensure the watch is accurate and reliable.

The 39 mm diameter polished steel case houses a finely grained ivory-coloured dial, for aesthetic purity. In addition to its specially engraved case back, several nods to the architecture of Rennes Opera House have been incorporated into the dial, such as the index at 12 o’clock and the date aperture reminiscent of the monument’s façade.
